Message from the Principal’s Office

Dear Cathedral Parents and Guardians,

We have exciting news to share with you. The Marion County Health Department has approved our waiver to begin the school year as planned. We know greatness is calling our students, families, and educators back to The Hill! It was wonderful to have our freshmen and seniors on campus today.

As a reminder, sophomores and juniors will have their first day on campus tomorrow, Friday, August 14. Prayer and Pledge will begin at 8:00 a.m. Freshmen and seniors will not come to campus and will not need to join their classes virtually. All students, freshmen through seniors, are to report to campus on Monday, August 17. Prayer and Pledge will begin at 7:50 a.m.

Please know to keep our doors open and our community safe, we need everyone to be our partners. Please make sure your child does a self-health check each day before heading to school. If your child is not feeling well and believes he/she has been exposed to COVID, please keep your student home. We also ask that you reinforce our safety protocols with your children: wear a mask, keep a six-foot distance from others, and wash your hands.

GREATNESS IS CALLING!

By remaining vigilant and looking out for our community, we can stay together as a community on The Hill!

Go Irish!
