American Mathematics Competition - Past News

On Feb. 7, forty-six of Cathedral’s best and brightest mathematicians were invited by their math teachers to participate in the AMC, a prestigious national high school math competition. The students participated in two divisions. The participants in the freshman-sophomore division were: Ethan Caldwell, Abygail Dravis, Henry Eifert, Liam Gallagher, Andrew George, Eric George, Justis Gordon, Nick Grill, Jackson Hern, Harry Huang, Mike Luo, Sam McEntire, Isaac Michael, Anya Neumeister, Justin Pugh, Olivia Schneider, Lucas Snyder, and Levi Wojtalik. Competing in the junior-senior division were: Chris Basile, JP Burger, Craig Castellino, Sydney Cripps, Andrew Darling, Elliott DeSanto, Claire DeWeese, Anna Flood, Lucia Grill, Jackson Haug, Kristen Hohman, Brendan Hurley, Sammy Kacius, Kalysta Lee, Blake Lowe, Liam Moore, Drake Mossman, Jack Parr, Dominic Quadrini, Elizabeth Renz, Jacob Schneider, Nate Schoenfeld, Audrey Teasley, Mary Kate Temple, Katherine Urasky, Lauren Walker, Clay Wright, and Camryn Wylam.
